(2) Boy scout badges. One is a generic "Scout" badge. The other a Tenderfoot Scout badge. If I remember correctly "Tenderfoot" was the first possible rank in scouting.
Though these are not my badges, I also became a boyscout in 1975. I advanced all the way to "Life Scout" but stopped short of becoming an Eagle Scout, the next and last rank in scouting.
I still remember the Boy Scout Oath; "On my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty, to God and my country, to obey the Scout Law, to help other people at all times, and to keep myself physically strong, mental.y awake, and morally straight." I don't claim to live by this oath but I do aspire to.
