The illustration is rendered in paint on on thick cardboard and measures 10 x 14 inches. It's currently shrink-wrapped with a foam-core backing for protection.

Mickey Mouse was created by Walt Disney and Disney animator Ub Iwerks. Micky Mouse was originally intended to replace Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, an earlier cartoon character created by Disney Studio for Charles Mintz of Universal Studios. Disney reportedly asked Mintz for an increase in the budget but Mintz instead demanded that Walt take a 20 percent budget cut and reminded him that Universal owned the character. Disney angrily refused the deal and instead produced the final Oswald cartoons per his contract with Universal.

Micky Mouse alternatively became the official mascot of the Walt Disney Company, a cartoon studio founded in 1923 by Walt and Roy Disney. Micky debuted in the short animated film, Steamboat Willie in 1928 and was featured in the original Fantasia in 1940.

Condition: Good condition though there are some creases and a small tear. The lower right corner may be separated. I'm not sure as I have not removed the painting from shrink-wrap.
