Three items: Ocean Spray and Makepeace Cranberry Sauce Brochures & Cookbook
Makepeace Brochure, dated 1929, measures 3.25 x 6 inches and opens to twice this size. Includes a typewritten note from the Makepeace Preserving Co. (see pics) The note says that "Miss Marjorie Mills" of WBZ-WBZA has kindly forwarded your address to us. Marjorie Mills was the first woman on the staff of the "Boston Herald," 1916 where she covered Boston's social elites. She later edited a cookbook and was featured on WNAC radio in the 1920s. She continued to broadcast both on WNAC with the "marjorie Mills Hour in the 30s and then at WBZ in the 40s.
Makepeace Preserving Co. and. Enoch F. Bills Co. merged with Ocean Spray to form Cranberry Canners, lnc., 1930, which was renamed National Cranberry Association, 1946 and became Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc., 1959.

Condition: All brochures are in excellent condition with minor discoloration. The Ocean Spray brochure and cookbook have a small and very slight crease to one corner. (bottom left)
