1970 Murray State University Student Newspaper

  • $145.00

Newspaper appears to be a student publication from Murray State University in Murray Kentucky and measures 15.5 x 22.5 inches when opened. It's a single page of newsprint printed on both sides.

Though the newspaper is not dated, it includes news of the infamous shooting at Kent State University by policemen. This took place in 1970. The publication includes "Dawn's Top Ten LP's": Deja Vu, American Woman, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Santana, Mountain Climbing, James Taylor, Led Zeppelin II, John B. Sebastian, Easy Rider and McCartney.

This is from my personal collection. My father, Bob Manley, was a professor in the Art Department at Murray State from 1969 - 1971. He's since passed away and this was part of his collection.

Condition: The newspaper is in very good condition with some discoloration and a small tear at one end, perhaps 1/2 inch.
