1950s Continental Press Education Miniatures
The selected product includes a small box including: 13 booklets, an order form, sample carbon page, introduction letter and return envelope. The box measures 6 x 9 inches and is 1.25 inches deep. The enclosed booklets measure 4 x 5.5 inches and include 30 or more pages each. I've included a pic of the box face and one end. I've also included pics of all of the enclosed items as well as a sample pic of a couple of inside pages. Individual booklets are full of 100s of small illustrations. This product is accompanied by a DVD with high resolution scans of many, though not all of the interior pages.
I believe the boxed kit included miniature samples such that educators could review content and order larger sized books for use in their classrooms. I'm not sure from when these materials date, perhaps the 1950s.
